Mick Cox retires after 30 years’ service
Mick Cox celebrated turning 65 on Saturday and after 30 years’ of service with Collier & Catchpole , he is now set to enjoy a busy retirement. One of his more unusual hobbies is cultivating Bonsai and his colleagues at the Ipswich yard have made sure they will continue to be in his thoughts, by presenting him with one of these Japanese miniature trees, said to promote a sense of peace and contemplation.
Managing Director Tim Rowbottom, who presented Mick with the gift, said: “Long-serving employees such as Mick are the lifeblood of our business as they reflect the ethos, so firmly established by Roy Collier, which differentiates us from so many of our competitors. We thank him for his 30 years’ of loyal service and wish him all the very best in his retirement.”
